The Judge of the Federal Constitutional Court Prof. Dr. Astrid Wallrabenstein spoke on »Access to Justice – Constitutional Complaints in Migration Law« at the invitation of the EBS Diversity & Refugee Law Clinic and the Chair of Public Law, Empirical Legal Research and Law & Economics (Prof. Towfigh) at EBS Law School on April 20, 2023.

She spoke about the importance of access to justice and reported on hurdles and overcoming mechanisms in doing so. Therein, she placed an emphasis on migration law constellations. Through her lecture, the important role of the Federal Constitutional Court as a »citizens’ court« and the constitutional complaint became tangible.

More than 90 students and faculty attended the event and took the opportunity to ask Justice Wallrabenstein questions after the lecture.
