Prof. Dr. iur. Iris Canor, LL.B. (Tel Aviv University), LL.M. (Brugge) is a legal scholar specializing in European law, human rights law, public and private international law, comparative law and Israeli administrative law. With a particular focus on the intersection of public and private international law, her research contributes to the most important legal debates in these fields.
She is an adjunct professor at the College of Management Academic Studies and Zefat Academic College in Israel and holds teaching positions at Tel Aviv University and Bar-Ilan University. She also teaches as an honorary professor in the LL.M. program at Saarland University. During her academic career, Prof. Canor has held teaching and research positions at prestigious institutions, including Tulane Law School, the Center of Transnational Legal Studies in London and the European University Institute in Italy. She has also been a visiting scholar at the Jean Monnet Center at New York University and the Center for European Studies at Columbia University.
She supports the Center for Diversity in Law as a project coordinator and is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law.
